US Energy Capital Corporation (USEC) is committed to successfully providing financing programs to the retail petroleum and convenience store industry as well as the energy saving and lighting retrofit industries. Since 1983 USEC, previously known as “All American Financial Services”, has been a leader in providing attractive loan programs to one of the country’s most capital-intensive markets; the retail petroleum and convenience store industry. Special programs were designed and implemented for major oil companies, such as:
- Texaco
- Shell Oil
- Star Enterprises
- ConocoPhillips
- Mobil Oil
- CITGO
In 2000, through our relationship with CITGO Petroleum, USEC was introduced to the energy saving and lighting upgrade industry. CITGO decided to encourage and assist their marketers, who owned and operated over 14,000 retail sites, in having their sites audited and upgraded. CITGO selected one of the country’s largest ESCOs and brought USEC in to design and implement the marketer financing for the 3-year upgrade program. At the request of CITGO and the large ESCO, Chevron Energy Solutions, USEC administered the program for several years.
In 2003, USEC was designated a “Preferred Lender” by Shell Oil and has financed over 500 site upgrades under their “RVI” program. In 2004, USEC was selected by ConocoPhillips as the “Preferred Financing Source” for their “OASIS” site upgrade program and we have financed over 300 of these sites. Recently Gilbarco Veeder-Root selected US Energy Capital as the Recommended Financing Solution for their new POS and dispenser systems.
USEC has been an active member of several industry trade associations. Jim Borland, USEC’s President, has been invited to speak and give presentations at numerous industry events and educational seminars. In fact, Jim co-founded and became the first President of the National Association of Equipment Lease Brokers (NAELB) which has grown into one of the leasing industry’s largest associations over the past 15 years.
